Terms and Conditions for Registration

For the 11th International Conference 2024,
Kaivalyadhama, Lonavala

1. General Information

  • By registering for the 11th International Conference 2024, Kaivalyadhama, Lonavala (hereafter referred to as “the Conference”), you agree to abide by these terms and conditions.
  • The conference is organised by Kaivalyadhama Yoga Institute (hereafter referred to as “the Organiser”).
  • The organiser, in its sole discretion, reserves the right to change any aspects of the Conference, including but not limited to, the name, themes, content, program, speakers, performers, hosts, moderators, venue, and time as per the situation.
  • No one under the age of 18, including children in strollers accompanying their parents, will be admitted on site.

2. Registration

  •  Registration is required to attend the Conference (onsite or online)
  • All participants must complete the registration form and pay the applicable fees (mentioned on web page) to confirm their participation.
  • Registration fees are non-refundable and non-transferable, except as outlined in the cancellation policy below.

3. Fees and Payment

  • The registration fees for onsite and online participation have been specified on the official Conference website.
  • Payment can be made via the available online payment methods on the registration portal.
  • All payments must be made in INR (Indian Rupees) or $ (USD).

4. Onsite Participation

  • Onsite participants are responsible for their travel, and any other expenses which do not include in their registration package.
  • The organiser will not be responsible for any loss, injury, or damage to any person or property during the Conference.
  • All participants must provide one of form of identification with the name appearing on their registration (Aadhar card or Passport)
  • All participants must wear badges at all times during the Conference.
  • It is the sole responsibility of the participants to take care of any government visa requirements. Participants who require an entry visa should allow sufficient time for the application procedure. participants should contact the nearest embassy or consulate to determine the appropriate timing of their visa applications. Organiser will not contact embassies and consulates on behalf of visa applicants or provide any other assistance relating to visa issues. Failure to obtain a visa in advance of the conference does not constitute a valid basis for obtaining a refund.

5. Online Participation

  • Online participants will receive access credentials for the virtual platform before the start of the Conference.
  • It is the responsibility of the online participants to ensure they have a stable internet connection and appropriate equipment to access the virtual platform.

6. Code of Conduct

  • All participants are expected to conduct themselves professionally and respectfully.
  • Any form of harassment, discrimination, or inappropriate behavior will not be tolerated and may result in expulsion from the Conference without a refund.
  • You acknowledge and agree that the Organiser reserves the right to remove you from the Conference in its sole discretion, and determines that your presence or behavior creates a disruption or hinders the Event or the enjoyment of the other attendees.

7. Cancellation or reschedule

  • The organiser reserves the right to cancel or reschedule the Conference. In the event of a cancellation by the Organiser, participants will receive a refund after the deduction of the third-party fee (of their registration fees).

8. Data Protection and Privacy

  • The organiser will collect and use personal data provided during the registration process under applicable data protection laws.
  • Participants’ contact information may be used for Conference-related communication.

9. Intellectual Property

  • All materials presented at the Conference, including but not limited to presentations, papers, and recordings, are the intellectual property of the respective authors and the Organiser.
  • Participants are not permitted to record, reproduce, or distribute any Conference materials.

10. Limitation of Liability

  • The organiser will not be liable for any loss, damage, or injury sustained by participants or their property as a result of attending the Conference.
  • The organiser will not be responsible for any technical issues affecting online participation.

11. Amendments

  • The organiser reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time. Any changes will be communicated to registered participants via the official Conference website or email.
